What are your thoughts on AI?
Our Higher Ed website and newsletter, Future Campus has now burned through its first 10 weeks and we are getting open rates of over 60% per issue – with stories about technology and AI currently rating as some of the most popular.
We had more than 24,000 opens of stories in the last issue alone and our advertising – the lifeblood that will keep Future Campus going for the sector – has been attracting thousands of views.
We are pretty happy with the result, given we started up on a few weeks notice with no funding and success is due in no small part to the ongoing work of Stephen Matchett, building on the extraordinary legacy he created with Campus Morning Mail.
But we want to reach even more people across the sector, and one of the answers is likely to be taking a closer look at the issues that really matter to you.
Reactions seem to vary from minute-to-minute fascination to involuntary ostrich-like behaviour (and yes I have Googled to discover ostriches dont really avoid trouble by sticking their head in the sand, so you will need to allow me some leeway with ostrich-like).
If you work in higher ed, AI is likely to be cropping up a lot in your news feed, I am guessing a little in the tearoom, but maybe not that much in your day to day meetings – yet?
We want to know your thoughts on AI and then will aggregate and share them in forthcoming editions of Future Campus. Please take a few minutes to fill out our survey on AI at https://lnkd.in/gCj_tvcA
Thanks again for joining us on the Future Campus journey.
