The Australian University regulator has just issued a toolkit for universities on generative AI, setting the standards for responding to the challenge of AI in education.
Instead of telling people how high to jump (because we don’t know yet) they’ve instead chosen to share a framework and lots of examples of what other universities are doing in the areas of process, people and practice.
So now, instead of asking how high to jump, you can review what others are doing, and learn from others.
A really good approach to sharing practice in an emerging area, and very supportive for providers dealing with complex challenges in the AI space. And universities can look to their peers, rather than just Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency to work out how high to jump!
