The centrepiece of the Accord’s proposed structural reforms is a new, integrated relationship between universities and the VET sector. It’s a marriage that has been arranged for some decades, but has never quite made it to the altar.
How will it work? On Tuesday 9 April Future Campus will hold a webinar to explore the barriers and the opportunities to redefine the relationship between universities and TAFEs, with Stephen Matchett hosting an interview with Victorian Skills Authority CEO Craig Robertson, followed by a panel discussion with Victoria University VC Professor Adam Shoemaker and TAFE Directors Australia CEO Jenny Dodd.
