A self-described ‘lover of edtech’ Associate Professor Amanda White has achieved not just an Order of Australia Medal but also the gratitude of thousands of students for achieving the astonishing outcome of making accounting (relatively) interesting.
Nominated by one of our most eminent readers, Amanda is the recipient of April’s Future Campus award for Influencer of the month in recognition of her efforts to push above and beyond the confines of her job description. A consummate multi-channel educator, Amanda’s wildly successful YouTube channel has more followers than most unis have students and her web resources are complemented by her commitment to giving back as a mentor.
