Eddie Holmes (Uni Sydney) receives the Australian Academy of Science’s GSK Award for Research Excellence.
Rachel Orzech (Uni Melbourne) wins the McCredie Musicological Award from the Australian Academy of the Humanities.
The South Australian premier’s business and export award winners for 2025 include: the Hospital Research Foundation, Uni Adelaide Women’s Professional Development Network, and CMAX Clinical Research.
Peter Shergold is inaugural chair of Western Sydney International Airport’s community aviation consultation group. The announcement references Professor Shergold’s term as Chancellor of Western Sydney U. There are appears little risk of his confusing the meeting papers for this and another organisation he chairs, the Australian Research Council.
