Sam Berkovic (Uni Melbourne) is elected president of the Australian Academy of Science, starting May and replacing Chennupati Jagadish. Warwick Negus becomes Chancellor of Uni NSW in the new year, replacing David Gonski who steps down after two decades. Mr Negus steps up from Deputy Chancellor.
