In concluding the highly successful initial visit of Professor Yana Sychikova and Professor Igor Lyman to Australia, Ukraine’s Berdyansk State Pedagogical University has signed an MoU to partner with Future Campus.
The partnership means both Future Campus and BSPU will ‘seek to promote evidence-based discussion on university transformation, resilience, innovation and societal engagement’.
“This is the first partnership Future Campus has forged beyond Australia’s shores and underscores the importance we place on sharing insights relating to international context,” Future Campus Publisher Tim Winkler said.
“We are delighted to partner with Berdyansk State Pedagogical University. University staff have achieved extraordinary outcomes despite being displaced by Russian occupation and their commitment to a combination of social and education programs online and in person provides a really interesting – and obviously effective approach to education delivery.
“It’s important not to romanticise the huge toll it has taken to sustain a university without walls, in the midst of war, but also to learn from insights into student engagement, staff wellbeing, learning delivery, research productivity and many other areas.”
