Join us for a special event to launch the latest Special Issue of the Journal of Teaching and Learning for Graduate Employability. Titled “The graduate employability practitioner: What works to develop career, teaching capability and organisational capacity”, the issue is guest edited by Assoc Prof Lauren Hansen, Assoc Prof Bonnie Amelia Dean, Dr Michael Healy, Assoc Prof Deanne Gannaway, Prof Barbie Panther and Prof Jamie Mustard.
This special issue features diverse voices from graduate employability practice, each offering a unique perspective. It showcases the complexity of their practice and professional development, emphasising the importance of reflection, collaboration, and advocacy in their work. The shared dedication to student learning and the visibility of employability champions working in third-space roles is a common thread that runs through these diverse perspectives.
The journal’s Editor-in-Chief, Prof Helen Partridge, will officially open the event. Following this, Assoc Prof Bonnie Dean will facilitate an author panel discussion to continue the critical conversations that emerged in the special issue. The launch event will conclude with a short Q&A session with authors and guest editors.
Help us celebrate the joy, pride, and community that graduate employability practitioners bring to their work. Our collective voices are critical in shaping the future of this field, so we hope you will join us as we elevate and honour the real-world impact of graduate employability practice.
